About Us

Polyline Designs Inc. was formally established in 2021 as an evolution of the former Polyline Drafting and Designs (since 1994). Both partners have experience in Part 9 building design as well as site/landscape design. All of our projects effectively use the site’s natural landscape features to capitalize on natural sunlight and to integrate the building into the natural contours thereby reducing unnecessary and costly earthworks and disturbance. This design approach is applied to all our projects, both residential and commercial.

We also offer existing building measurements using the iGuide camera system which measures entire spaces within 0.5% accuracy, captures 360 degree photos, and prepares a virtual walkthrough to create accurate as-built records.

Our Team

Kelly Peters

Founder/Partner
Senior Architectural Technologist

Kelly is a 1981 graduate of NBCC Civil Engineering technology, Architectural Option. His career began over 40 years ago in the landscape architecture industry before focusing on Part 9 architectural design in 1994.

Kelly’s focus is now largly building and site design, contract administration, and project management.

Melissa Douthwright, P.Tech

Partner
Architectural Technologist

Melissa’s career began in 2007 as a graduate of NBCC Architectural Technology. She started her career in the landscape architecture field as a technologist before shifting focus back to building design. Her experience has ranged from presentation drawings, construction drawings and specifications, 3D modelling and rendering, project management and construction adminstration.

She is a member of NBSCETT and a LEED® Green Associate.

Melissa has managed the Moncton office and day to day operations since 2021.

Rebecca Butler, P.Tech

Architectural Technologist

Rebecca is a graduate of NBCC Building Technology. She joined the team in 2022 and has gained a wide range of experience preparing preliminary building designs and construction drawings for project ranging from custom residential homes to multi-unit apartment buildings and commercial projects.
